Create Perth and the SFM are back from outreach!  We had an amazing time, producing resources designed to help bring the love of Jesus to Muslims in Southeast Asia, many of whom have never heard the full Gospel message.  There were all sorts of oddities traveling (massively delayed plane on the way there, a cancelled plane on the way home) and lots of challenges and obstacles, but God came through every time.

This morning, as teams from our YWAM Perth October quarter of training were reporting back about their experiences on outreach, the SFM and Create International Perth were being prayed over and commissioned for something very exciting:  we're heading off onto outreach to Southeast Asia.

In 2009, I had the opportunity to travel to one of the more remote places on the earth, as well as one of the harder to spell – Kyrgyzstan.  What an experience!  I was there leading the combined Create International / School of Frontier Media team that was producing an evangelistic film and a Video People Profile for the Kyrgyz Muslims.

A couple of weeks ago we had a testimony on this blog about our outreach to the Punjabi Sikhs last year, when Create Perth teamed up with the School of Frontier Media 2010 and with other Create International teams to produce a bunch of resources for this people group.

In our most recent international newsletter, our international directors reported that, "Recently, we met a man who lead a mobile evangelism ministry in the Northeast part of Thailand.  He began to tell us about a very effective film in the Isaan local language.  When he found out it was Create's film, "Singkorn's Return," he was so excited and told us how they had personally distributed more than 5,000 copies of the film to villages, schools and churches, and they desire to distribute another 10,000!  Praise the Lord for his faithfulness!"

We had an encouraging testimony a little while ago from a South Asia YWAM leader.  They let us know that the people using a project produced through Create India, one of fellow Create International centres, have just ordered another 1000 copies of that video to distribute through their radio program!  It’s an evangelistic (EV) video for the Bengali Hindus that a couple of our Create Perth staff were able to go and help produce back in 2008.
