Adventures in meeting people!

Recently, the School of Frontier Media took to the streets of Perth and learned to see our city and her people through God’s eyes and also through our cameras. The students had a great time connecting to people in new ways. Here are some of their testimonies (and some of their photos)

As we’ve been praying for the SFM coming up this January, God has been leading us to the longest chapter of the Bible – Psalm 119.  This is a passage that talks all about the beauty of the commandments of God – his statutes, decrees, words and laws.  In particular, he’s highlighted vs. 73-74, which state “You made me; you created me.  Now give me the sense to follow your commands. May all who fear you find in me a cause for joy, for I have put my hope in your word.”

Graduates from the School of Frontier Media Perth are part of an exciting new film project that has just finished a block of shooting in the Kalgoorlie / Coolgardie region of Western Australia.  The project, which has the working title of “Drop Tail”, is specially created with the purpose of sharing a message of hope and life to the Aboriginal communities in the area.  Personal stories gathered in interviews with various local leaders have been woven together into this short dramatic film which speaks into issues of identity and forgiveness.
